Cookovate (cookovate.com) is an online store selling home and kitchen essentials to customers in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If you have any questions, email us at support@cookovate.com.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, phone number, email address and delivery address, plus the products you ordered. When you create an account: your email address and the details you choose to save. When you contact us or join our email list: your name, email address and anything you write to us.
How we use it
We use your information to confirm and deliver your orders — including calling or messaging you to confirm your address before dispatch — to provide customer support, to run your account, and, only if you signed up, to send you our email updates. You can unsubscribe from those at any time.
Who we share it with
Cookovate is a dropshipping store: when you order, we buy the item from our supplier on your behalf. To do that, we share your name, phone number, delivery address and the items ordered with that supplier and with the courier who delivers your parcel. We also rely on service providers who host our website and send our emails. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments
We currently accept cash on delivery only, so we do not collect or store any card details on this website.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work — for example to remember your cart, keep you signed in, and remember your language (English or Arabic).
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for delivery, returns and our legal and accounting obligations. We keep your account until you ask us to delete it, and your email-list details until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email support@cookovate.com and we will reply within a few working days.
